Shareef Abdur-Rahim was not going to let his team blow it again.

The Hawks have blown several fourth-quarter leads, but held on for a 101-95 victory over the Hornets Wednesday behind Abdur-Rahim. He scored 10 of his team-high 33 points in the final period, including a dunk over P.J. Brown and Jamaal Magloire in the final seconds that sealed the win.

Despite blowing a 14-point third-quarter lead, the Hawks won on the road for the first time in four tries. Two nights after Detroit won the Central Division against the Hawks, the Hornets needed a win to secure a playoff berth. But it was not going to be Wednesday.
