Steve Luhm reports on the Jazz's close win over Phoenix.

When he saw the Suns' Dan Majerle fire a three-pointer with one second left Thursday night, coach Jerry Sloan assumed the Jazz had blown an 11-point lead in the final three minutes and were going to lose.

John Starks knew better.

"I figured it was off," said Starks, who lunged at Majerle on the last shot. "He didn't really get set, and then I saw him leaning back -- hoping it was going in. If you know it's going in, you just stand there."

Starks was right.
