So what needs to happen for the Milwaukee Bucks, once considered the favorites in the East, to make the playoffs?  Frank Schwab of the Green Bay Press-Gazette runs it all down for us.

The Bucks would clinch the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference if they win their final two regular-season games, against Toronto tonight and at Detroit on Wednesday.

The Bucks hold the tiebreakers over Indiana, with which Milwaukee is tied for eighth place, and Toronto, which is in seventh place, one game ahead.

The Bucks could clinch a playoff berth with a win tonight, combined with a Pacers loss at Cleveland. Even if the Pacers beat the Cavaliers and the Bucks beat the Raptors, the Bucks would make the playoffs with a win on Wednesday, or if either Indiana or Toronto lose on Wednesday.

If the Bucks lose to Toronto, they couldn?t catch the Raptors in the playoff race. The Bucks would need help to catch Indiana and make the playoffs, either if the Pacers split their final two games and Milwaukee wins on Wednesday, or if the Pacers lose their final two games. Indiana finishes the season on Wednesday against Philadelphia at home.
