He might be the league?s Sixth Man of the Year, but Thursday night he was much, much more to the Detroit Pistons.  He was their saviour.

In only 28 minutes against the Raptors in the winner goes through affair Williamson was 10 of 15 from the floor for 23 points, picking up the slack from Jerry Stackhouse who struggled to find his shot.

"They had no answer for Corliss," Stackhouse said. "We would get the ball to him on the block and he worked out. There wasn't anything bigger than that last one when we needed a bucket with two seconds on the shot clock. I told him I was coming to him and when he came off that curl he was going to get it. . . . They took us to the brink, but our guys stepped up and played hard and played when we had to."

Williamson, nicknamed the ?Big Nasty?, did the bulk of his damage on ex-Piston Jerome Williams who has the nickname ?Junk Yard Dog?.  Why?  "The Dog locks people up. That's what the Dog is supposed to do."  I know one dog who doesn?t deserve a bone.
