Tom Enlund of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that the Bucks are looking into trade possibilities. "It's part of our business," Bucks general manager Ernie Grunfeld said. "You look for ways to improve. You explore. There is always a lot of exploring."

There will be no trades until at least next week when the new salary cap is set and free agents are allowed to start signing contracts. There will probably be some more activity as free agents start to sign with their own teams and other teams," Grunfeld said. "And there may be some sign-and-trades." Because of the Luxury tax, which is expected to go into effect next season, the Bucks are not expected to be big players in the free agent market.

During the draft, the Knicks? Latrell Sprewell was rumored to be coming to Milwaukee. Sprewell has Milwaukee ties and also played under Grunfeld when he was GM of the Knicks. Grunfeld says the Sprewell rumors are old news. "That's been going on for years," he said. "That's nothing new. There's that Milwaukee connection."

When asked if he would be satisfied with his current squad going into the new season Grunfeld said, "The No. 1 thing for us is to try and get healthy."
