Darren Rovell of ESPN.com says Grizzlies owner Michael Heisley is attempting to sell some of his interest in the Memphis Grizzlies.

When Heisley moved the team to Memphis, he put 49 percent of the stock on the market for local investors.  So far he has sold about 30 percent of it, and now owns about 70 percent of the team.

However, Rovell suggests he might be trying to sell more.  He says, ?There have been rumors that Heisley has been quietly shopping his majority share.?

Rovell adds that even if Heisley no longer had a majority share in the team, he could still be the managing partner. "There are a lot of owners that have it set up that way," Heisley said.
