After falling completely out of the rotation in Portland as the Blazers make a run guard Damon Stoudamire seemingly has eyes for the city which never sleeps.

"That would be great," Stoudamire told the Post before last night's win against the Knicks. "I would love to play here. New York has always been the Mecca of basketball to me, and if that would happen, I would look forward to that."

"If something was to happen with me, I would be happy with that," Stoudamire said with a laugh.

According to Mark Hale of the New York Post, during a break in one of the plays a fan sitting behind the Blazers bench begged for Stoudamire to get traded to the Knicks.  "I'll stay in your doghouse to get here," replied Stoudamire.

At $12.375 per season over the next two years Stoudamire would be hard to move at any rate, regardless of mutual infactuations.
