If teams could trademark their style as well as their logo, if it were possible to sue for copyright infringement in the NBA, the Jazz would have a pretty strong case against the Phoenix Suns after Sunday's 107-99 Utah loss.

A point guard who is equal parts devastating penetrator and adept passer? A forward who can't be stopped from scoring inside, outside and at the line? A team that relies on toughness and execution in close games, that makes few mistakes in the final three minutes?

This has been the Jazz's blueprint for nearly two decades, as Karl Malone (26 points) and John Stockton (10 assists) reminded the America West Arena crowd once more. But Stephon Marbury and Shawn Marion outdid the two Jazz players at their own game, combining for 69 points, keeping their team in the game by themselves in the second half, and making all the critical plays at the end as Phoenix won its 10th straight home game.
