San Antonio can breathe a little easier today. Spurs forward Tim Duncan took and MRI on his sprained left ankle on Monday which came out negative reports Johnny Ludden of the San Antonio Express News.

"It's not serious and that's good," said Spurs coach Gregg Popovich. "An injury to a guy like that can make or break your season."

Duncan said, "When I first got hurt, I thought it would be a while (before he could play). But fortunately it's not that bad. It is just day to day right now."

Spurs officials said Duncan is questionable for tonight's game against the New York Knicks.
