Ron Artest just can?t seem to stay out of trouble. The Associated Press reports that just five seconds into Wednesday?s Pacers-Celtics game, Artest was whistled for a flagrant foul. If the league allows the foul to stand, Artest will be suspended for two more games.

Boston?s Paul Pierce went up for a layup off the opening tip when Artest hit him in the head from behind. The officials immediately signaled for a flagrant foul as Artest stood with his arm raised.

It is the eighth flagrant foul charged against Artest this season. He has been suspended twice already for surpassing the flagrant foul point limit of five. He will be suspended two games for each flagrant foul committed for the rest of the season.

The NBA has suspended Artest for nine games this season, and the Pacers have suspended him once. He loses about $21,000 in salary every time he's forced to sit out.
