Ohm Youngmisuk of the New York Daily News reports that Jason Kidd's future changes from week to week. Reports always varying from Kidd staying to Kidd bolting.

"I'm sure there will be positive things, negative things (written) regarding him," said Thorn, whose team plays Miami tonight at the Meadowlands. "I can't be concerned about it right now. We will just have to wait and see."

Lately ,though, Kidd has made his intentions pretty clear it seems.

Kidd said: "My whole agenda is to be a Net. We'll see come July 1."

It has been said that if the Nets offer Kidd the maximum, he would stay put. Kidd helped that train of thought along according to Brad Parks of The Star Ledger.

In October, Kidd said he "would go deaf" to other offers if the Nets offered the max.

"I've said my intentions are to stay in New Jersey," Kidd said. "That's my No. 1 choice. We'll play it out and see what happens. I'm 100 percent to stay. So we'll see what happens."

This could alter the Spurs plans a bit according to Ohm Youngmisuk of the New York Daily News, but they have options.

Should the Bucks fail to re-sign Gary Payton, he could sign in San Antonio for less money. There are also reports that if Kidd does not land in San Antonio, they will persue Kevin Garnett next summer.
