If ever there were a time when the Utah Jazz didn't need additional distractions, it's now.

Their arch-nemeses, the San Antonio Spurs, are in town for a Monday night game at the Delta Center. The same Spurs who have beaten the Jazz in all three meetings this season and in 12 straight meetings dating back to Feb. 6, 2000.

Naturally, the Jazz say they aren't distracted by the latest hoopla, involving a Sports Illustrated story that features controversial statements by Karl Malone and Mark Jackson.

Malone's wife, Kay, told SI she and their children would visit cities including Los Angeles, San Antonio and Dallas this June to help determine where the future free agent should play next season.
