Johnny Ludden of the San Antonio Express-News reports that Spurs coach Gregg Popovich will win the NBA's Coach of the Year award.

Popovich will become the first Spurs coach in franchise history to be give the honor beating out the likes of Jerry Sloan, Hubie Brown, and Eric Musselman.

Popovich led the Spurs to a 60-22 record, tied for tops in the league with Dallas. The Spurs went 41-9 since January first and won 18 of their last 20 road games.
