There's a leprechaun, a tiki doll and a brass four-leaf clover. There's a horseshoe, a New Orleans voodoo doll and a Beanie Babies penguin. There's even a key from the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, where somebody really must have gotten lucky.

The good-luck charms are piling up at the Pepsi Center. More than 50 have been sent by fans to the Denver Nuggets, who are hoping to have the most fortuitous day in team history at the NBA draft lottery Thursday in Secaucus, N.J.

The prize for winning the lottery is the right to draft Akron, Ohio, high school phenom LeBron James on June 26. And it should be said that the Nuggets have gotten a box of Lucky Charms cereal with a mug shot of James placed over the head of a leprechaun.
