Cliff Robinson was a bit miffed about the negative coverage he has received during the Eastern Conference finals.

After the team's Thursday shootaround at John Jay College in New York, Robinson said, "People are writing and talking about me like I'm the weakest link."

Robinson was averaging 8.5 points and one rebound per game during this series before scoring 15 points and grabbing three rebounds in Thursday's loss.

He's quick to point out that in Tuesday's game, Nets power forward Kenyon Martin had just nine points through three quarters before scoring 16 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Nets' comeback.

However, Martin scored nine of his 16 fourth-quarter points on Tuesday with Robinson in the lineup.

"I thought I did a good job on him. Then I got out of the game (with foul trouble) to start the fourth, and he got it going," Robinson said. "We just have to do a good job of keeping a body on him and make him take tough shots."
