If David Robinson is the Spurs' Admiral and Tim Duncan is the battleship, then Tony Parker is the little speedboat who left a big wake in Game 3.

Parker scored 19 of his 29 points in the third quarter when the Spurs turned the tide of the game, outscoring the Mavericks, 31-20, and taking a 69-66 lead into the final quarter.

In the first half, Parker scored just six points. While Duncan dominated the game with 34 points and 24 rebounds, Parker was dominant in the stretch that mattered most.

"He took over for a whole quarter there," Duncan said.
