The search for the next coach of the Toronto Raptors has been narrowed to four relatively obscure candidates, who will all be interviewed by general manager Glen Grunwald before the week's end.

Grunwald, who is in Chicago attending the pre-draft camp, remained tightlipped yesterday on the progress of his search for a coach to replace Lenny Wilkens, who was fired the day after the Raptors' National Basketball Association season ended.

However, according to sources within the organization, Grunwald's focus has been narrowed to four candidates, all of whom are currently NBA assistant coaches, but who have never held an NBA head coaching position. They are Mike Woodson of the Philadelphia 76ers, Dwane Casey of the Seattle SuperSonics, Sam Mitchell of the Milwaukee Bucks and Kevin O'Neill of the Detroit Pistons.
