Boston basketball fans may have a chance to be the first to see high school sensation LeBron James play in an NBA uniform.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, who have already committed to taking James with the first pick in this month's NBA draft, will send an entry to the Celtics' summer league for the first time. Cavs general manager Jim Paxson said the 18-year-old phenom will be in tow.

The league, now named the Reebok Pro Summer League, runs from July 14-20 at UMass-Boston. It will once again include entries from the NBA's two finalists - San Antonio and New Jersey. Dallas is also sending a team for the first time.

The Hawks, Sixers, Wizards, Knicks and Bucks are also repeat participants.
