The NHL season ended here Monday night, but that didn't stop Rodney Rogers from throwing a little hip check at the Celtics as he prepared for tonight's Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

Talking about the difference in playing for the New Jersey Nets after his run with the Celts last season, Rogers said: ``Everybody gets along with each other, and we joke and laugh. But when it's time for business, we take care of business. And we don't have no selfish players. Everybody shares the ball, and we just want to win. So we go out and try to get it done as a team.''

Does that mean there were problems along those lines with the C's?

``A little bit,'' said Rogers, who left Boston as a free agent. ``Everybody knows Antoine (Walker) and Paul (Pierce) were going to take the majority of the shots. But once they understand that, you know, `Hey, we need other guys to help,' it'll be a different ball game.
