What began as a coaching derby involving approximately 30 names has been whittled to a two-horse field.

There were plenty of indications yesterday to suggest the Raptors' exhaustive and extensive search to find a successor to Lenny Wilkens has led them to two names -- Kevin O'Neill and Dwane Casey.

Typically, the Raptors weren't about to divulge details but sources remain convinced that one of O'Neill and Casey will become the Raptors' fifth coach in team history.

The same sources think O'Neill has the inside track. It is believed the former assistant with the Detroit Pistons spent three days recently with Raptors general manager Glen Grunwald, who recommended four names for the team's ownership group to consider.
