Getting from the locker room to the team bus wasn't easy for Malik Rose after Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

From the moment he stepped out of the shower, it seemed as if the Spurs forward had to stop every few feet to visit with his admirers, a diverse group that included actress Penny Marshall and referee Dick Bavetta.

But the long process didn't bother Rose, who found out after Game 4 that the walk out of Continental Airlines Arena can be a pretty lonely experience after an 0-for-9 shooting performance.

"After that one," Rose said, "I was really frustrated and angry with myself. I felt like I let my team down. I felt like if they had gotten half of a performance out of me in Game 4, we would have won the game."
