Darko Milicic's European team is threatening legal action against the Pistons and his agents, but neither seems overly concerned.

The Pistons are expected to take Milicic, a 7-foot-1 center, with the second pick in Thursday's NBA draft. But Hemofarm Vrsac, the team Milicic has played for since 2000, said it would sue his agents, Marc and Natasha Cornstein, and initiate arbitration proceedings against any NBA team that attempts to sign him.

Hemofarm Vrsac apparently wants compensation for losing Milicic.

John Hammond, the Pistons' vice president of basketball operations, said the threat wouldn't keep the team from drafting Milicic, and it would worry about legal proceedings down the road.
