It's a steamy Sunday afternoon and Pau Gasol is getting a taste of Hubie Brown's routine.

That's right, Gasol is coaching the "Grizzlies," a group of European teenagers - 15-17 - participating in an NBA camp, Basketball Without Borders, at Treviso, Italy.

Gasol's group beat kids led by L.A. Clippers guard Marko Jaric by a point.

The three-day camp concluded Monday and also featured San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker and Utah Jazz forward Andrei Kirilenko as coaches while Houston's Bostjan Nachbar and Denver's Nikoloz Tskitishvili counseled.

"We're having fun," Gasol said. "European basketball is now realizing the potential and talent over here. There are a lot of good kids here. A lot of talent. . . . What's happening in Memphis?"
