JR Bremer's entire family lives in the Cleveland area, but they don't give him LeBron James updates.

``They're interested in me,'' the Celtics guard said last night after bringing the house down with a 28-point, six-assist performance that included five 3-pointers in an 87-84 win over Cleveland in the Reebok Pro Summer League at UMass-Boston.

Consider it Bremer's reminder to everyone in the front office that he's still a player - perhaps even a better one than the rookie who broke into the starting lineup last season.

Bremer did not admit to worrying about the arrival of rookie point guard Marcus Banks, who certainly pushed the ball to director of basketball operations Danny Ainge's prescribed pace last night.

``Right now I'm just trying to get in better shape and knock down more shots,'' said Bremer, who was 7-for-12 from the floor. ``But I'm not thinking about my situation. Right now when Marcus goes out, I play point guard.
