ATLANTA (AP) Rookie forward Jason Kapono replaced Darius Miles in the Cleveland Cavaliers' starting lineup for the first time this season in Saturday night's game against the Atlanta Hawks.

The Cavaliers, attempting to snap a 28-game road losing streak, also were without forward Carlos Boozer, who missed his third straight game with a sprained ankle.

Kapono, a second-round pick out of UCLA, averaged 2.5 points in his six games. Coach Paul Silas put in Kapono to replace Miles, who entered with an 11.3 scoring average, to begin the second half of a 97-83 home loss Friday night to Minnesota.

Guard Ricky Davis, the subject of recent trade rumors involving Chicago guard Jalen Rose going to Toronto, was in the starting lineup for the Cavaliers.

Davis, whose 15.2 scoring average entering Saturday's game was second on the Cavaliers to LeBron James, acknowledged hearing his name also mentioned in potential deals with Indiana or Portland.

``I've just been hearing it around everywhere, really,'' Davis said. ``It makes you think it's true when you hear it everywhere.''
