TORONTO (AP) Raptors forward Lamond Murray wants to be traded because he's frustrated by his diminishing role in Toronto's offense, the Toronto Star reported Friday.

``I'm out. I do not want to be here,'' Murray told the newspaper. ``At this point, I'm just ready to go. Hopefully I can go somewhere I can help some team out. I don't want to sit here and waste another year.''

The Raptors acquired Murray from Cleveland on Aug. 25, 2002, and has two years and about $10 million remaining on his contract.

``There's a difference in being on a good team and being a part of it. You know what I'm saying?'' Murray said. ``I'm not part of anything around here.''

Murray, placed on the injured list with back spasms during the Raptors' recent road trip, said he feels fine. He spoke with coach Kevin O'Neill about his status, and said he intended to talk to GM Glen Grunwald on Friday about trading him as soon as possible.

``As soon as his office opens, I'm going to talk to him,'' Murray said. ``I've already relayed a message to my agent. And it's time they made a move.''

Murray missed all of last season after tearing a ligament in his foot in the preseason. He was a key part of the team's offense at the beginning of the season, but his minutes have dwindled. He played one minute in the team's loss to Boston on Dec. 3.

Murray has averaged 8.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 17 games this season.
