_Latrell Sprewell, Timberwolves, scored 35 points to lead Minnesota to a 97-84 victory over the Lakers.

_Allen Iverson, 76ers, had 31 points and eight assists in an 85-82 win over the Hornets.

_Richard Hamilton, Pistons, scored all eight of Detroit's points in overtime, and had 28 overall, in a 90-89 win over Toronto.

_Lamar Odom, Heat, had 25 points and 14 rebounds, lifting Miami to a 97-88 win over the Clippers.

BRYANT INJURED

Lakers star Kobe Bryant was placed on the injured list Friday because of a severe cut on his right index finger that will keep him out of action for at least a week. The Lakers said Bryant needed nine to 10 stitches to close the wound. He was injured Thursday when he accidentally put his hand through a glass window while trying to move some boxes in his garage.

JAZZ FINED

The Utah Jazz were fined $15,000 by the NBA for a skit performed by their mascot that ridiculed Karl Malone and teammate Kobe Bryant during a timeout in the Los Angeles Lakers' game at Utah last week.

STRONG IN DEFEAT

The Suns' Joe Johnson had 28 points and nine assists in a 105-100 loss to the Wizards on Friday night. ... The Clippers' Elton Brand had 23 points and 15 rebounds in Los Angeles' 97-88 loss to the Heat.

ALL HAMILTON

Detroit's Richard Hamilton scored all eight of his team's points in overtime to lead the Pistons to a 90-89 win over the Raptors on Friday night. Hamilton finished with 28 points.

SIDELINED

Forward Mike Dunleavy left early in the third quarter of the Golden State Warriors' 101-81 win over the Chicago Bulls on Friday night after spraining his left ankle. Dunleavy had 15 points, all on 3-pointers, before he left. He did not return.
