Tracy McGrady has no plans to sign a contract extension this summer and has every intention of opting out of the final two years of his contract in the summer of 2005.

McGrady could even see himself leaving if things don't go well next season.

"I've got to wait and see what happens this summer and next season before I do anything," McGrady told Florida Today. "I don't necessarily want to be a free agent, but I've got to wait and see what changes are going to come around here. I just can't go through this again -- all this losing."

However, Magic general manager John Gabriel believes the team will upgrade it's roster enough this offseason with a high first-round pick and their projected $5.1 Mid-Level Exception to convince McGrady to stay.
