Jason Williams's tirade Monday night during the Grizzlies' 92-81 loss at Utah cost him a one-game suspension without pay.

The NBA announced the penalty late Tuesday after reviewing an incident in which Williams made contact with a referee, verbally abused another official and failed to leave the court in a timely manner following his ejection.

The Grizzlies' starting point will not play in tonight's home game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
