After one of the worst offensive displays in NBA playoff history, the Detroit Pistons are back in the NBA Finals.

The turning point came when Richard Hamilton was attempting to back into Ron Artest. It appeared that Hamilton went into Artest's groin, but then when he tried going past him Artest took a shot right at his face. Hamilton went down, but got back up enraged, hitting both free throws and helping to fuel the Pistons into the finals for the first time since 1990 by defeating the Indiana Pacers 69-65.

"I think it energized me," Hamilton said. "I'm happy I got hit. Sometimes it takes getting hit like that to get you right, get you ready, get you focused to do what you have to do to win."
