Sign-and-trade talks between the Nets and Nuggets for Kenyon Martin are back on and it now seems very likely that Martin will be heading in the Mile High direction for a seven-year, maximum-salary contract worth as much as $105 million.

The Nuggets will send the Nets a collection of three possible lottery Draft picks.

Discussions of a sign-and-trade for Martin appeared dead but with the Nets seemingly likely to match a Nugget offer sheet, Denver held off on making the offer and instead re-started trade negotiations.

The deal could be done by today.

"You guys will find out soon. Something is going to happen soon," said Martin.  "You'd have thought it would be easy. That wasn't the case."

There remains a chance that the Nets could resolve matters and retain Martin.  But it's more likely that they'll opt to take three picks over the next two years.
