Don't blame the media for reporting on U.S. basketball's Olympic struggles.

Could it be that the NBA culture of 'entertainment over substance' has spread overseas and is infecting the unity and quality of this U.S. team?

Maybe we should call this 'Team NBA' instead.

Against Australia, the U.S. finally made the extra pass and was able to pull out the win.

The Pistons, led by head coach Larry Brown, showed that teamwork and cohesiveness on the court can succeed in the NBA.  Brown has largely been frustrated instilling the same qualities in his cast of top talent.

But there is no immunity for Brown either.  He too deserves to share in the blame.
