As Kerry Kittles looks to miss the first month of training camp with his new team, word from Clippers GM Elgin Baylor is that not only was his team aware of the arthroscopic procedure Kittles had on his knee before trading for the shooting guard, Kittles had past his post-trade physical as well.

Kittles, however, wasn?t satisfied that all was well because of a persistent clicking sound in his knee and sought a second opinion, ESPN is reporting.  Doctors advised him to complete six weeks of therapy and conditioning, which he began two weeks ago.

Kittles has been cleared by the Clippers' medical staff to play, but believes he will benefit from the rehab program.
"We will endorse this plan on behalf of his and the teams long-term best interests," Baylor said. "We have every expectation that he will be at full strength and ready to go in time for the beginning of the regular season."
