The Indiana Pacers will get one healthy body back in uniform for Saturday night's game at Golden State after activating the franchise's leading scorer Reggie Miller Friday.  Miller will miss Friday's game against the Sacramento Kings through suspension after leaving the bench in last month's brawl in Detroit.

"He gives us another guy that's a top-level player, and certainly one of our leaders," coach Rick Carlisle said. "We just hope we can integrate him back in quickly. There's no substitute for game readiness, but hopefully that will come back in time."

The Pacers desperately need a vintage performance from Miller in the upcoming weeks if they hope to stay afloat in the Eastern Conference until Jermaine O'Neal and Stephen Jackson return from their suspensions. Miller has been working out with the depleted club, though the Pacers haven't been able to hold real practices since the suspensions.

"We don't have enough guys," guard Anthony Johnson said. "(Miller) is looking really good. Working out with him, I know he's doing great. With it probably being his last year, he wants to go out with a bang."
