While the Phildelphia 76ers remain unhappy with Glenn Robinson and Robinson remains unhappy with the 76ers, it now appears likely that Robinson will not be making an appearance again this season, at least in a Sixers uniform.

The Philadelphia Daily News is reporting that head coach Jim O'Brien said Friday that Robinson may sit out the remainder of the season with an ankle injury.

Robinson, earning more than $12 million in the final year of his contract, has been on the injured list all season with left ankle tendinitis and a sore elbow.

"I don't anticipate seeing him at all," O'Brien said. "He said he is incapable of playing. My understanding is that his ankles are incapable of carrying him on the court."

Earlier in the season Robinson requested a trade after losing his starting job to rookie Andre Iguodala and despite their best efforts the Sixers have been unable to strike a deal.
