Detroit Pistons forward Antonio McDyess is listed as a "game-time decision" for tonight's matchup with the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, but the former Knick is pretty certain he's going to be out there.

"I am definitely waiting to see how it reacts (today), but for me, it's not a game-time decision," said McDyess, who has missed the past five games with a slight tear in his left calf muscle. "I want to play. It's just up to Coach (Larry Brown) and the trainers. But in my head, I am playing."

As for a chance to show Knicks President Isiah Thomas what he gave up by trading him to the Phoenix Suns last year in the deal that netted the team local favorite Stephon Marbury, McDyess said he has no agenda.

"There's nothing really to talk about," he said. "I had some good times there and definitely a lot of bad times related to basketball. I kind of enjoyed it when I did play, but things didn't work out. They changed management and had to have a different look."

McDyess has said publicly that he was never made to feel part of the plan once Thomas took over. He said the two never had a conversation and he knew it was only a matter of time before he was dealt.

But he said he's well over that now.

"It's just another game to me," he said. "Like I said, I only played a month or two and it seems like nothing really came out of that. I was still in a rehab stage when I did come back, so revenge isn't anything that's going to be there."

He's not even sure his return will make a ripple at Madison Square Garden.

"I don't think I will get any reaction," he said. "I think they barely seen what I can do, so it doesn't really matter."
