The Spurs had control throughout the game easily handling the Seattle SuperSonics 103-84.  The Sonics were without their All-Star guard and top scorer Ray Allen, who is out with the flu, and coach Nate McMillan, who is in Raleigh following the death of his mother.

Manu Ginobili led the Spurs with 23 points as the Spurs got their first victory in three tries versus the Sonics this season.

Ginobili admitted that Allen's absence was a key factor.  "Of course, he's an All-Star," San Antonio guard Manu Ginobili said. "If we were playing without Tim Duncan, we would miss him a lot."

Ronald Murray, Vladimir Radmanovic and Antonio Daniels each had 13 points for the Sonics.
