The Charlotte Bobcats today activated forward Theron Smith from the injured list and placed guard/forward Bernard Robinson on the injured list with right knee tendinitis, it was announced by Bobcats General Manager and Head Coach Bernie Bickerstaff.  Smith will be in uniform for tonight?s road game at Utah.

Smith has appeared in 11 games this season with averages of 1.8 points and 2.0 rebounds in 10.8 minutes.  He was placed on the injured list on January 11 with right knee tendinitis and last appeared on January 7 at Orlando, scoring four points in 16 minutes.  Smith began the 2004-05 season on the injured list after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.

Robinson has seen action in 14 games this season and averaged 1.4 points and 0.8 rebounds in 7.4 minutes.  He originally was placed on the injured list with left knee tendinitis on Nov. 16 against Utah, after appearing in the first five games of the season. He missed the next 25 games with the injury. Robinson was activated on January 11 and played in nine games since that time.
