For the sixth time this season, a Suns player was named Western Conference Player of the Week as guard Steve Nash took the honor for February 7-13 after averaging 26.0 points and 14.3 assists in three games. Nash is the third Suns player to win the award twice this season (Amar? Stoudemire, Shawn Marion).

Nash notched three 20-plus point, 10-plus assist games as the Suns won two of three games last week, highlighted by a 125-123 victory at Sacramento on Feb. 8, ending the Suns? eight-game losing streak at ARCO Arena. In that game, Nash scored a season-high 33 points to go along with his 17 assists.  The Suns? floor general followed that up with 25 points and 14 dishes in a 113-105 loss vs. Seattle on Feb. 11 and then had 20 points and 12 assists, his ninth consecutive game with 11 or more assists, in a 106-102 overtime win at Golden State last night.

Allen Iverson was named the Eastern Conference player of the week, following his amazing 60 point performance versus the Orlando Magic.
