The Seattle SuperSonics held practice Monday night minus their brusing center Danny Fortson.  Fortson remains in Pennsylvania with his ailing grandmother.  Fortson made the call to Sonics GM Rick Sund saying he would not be flying back as scheduled.

The Sonics didn?t know whether he would be available for tonight?s game against the Houston Rockets.

?He needed a little more time,? coach Nate McMillan said. ?We expect him to be here (today). That?s as much as I know.?

Fortson has missed the last three games, two because of suspension and the other game spent in Pennsylvania.  The Sonics are 1-2 without him.
