The Washington Wizards and Philadelphia 76ers were taken to the brink of a loss by two teams they expected to provide easy victories on Saturday night.  The Charlotte Bobcats and Atlanta Hawks gave these two playoffs teams games that were decided in the final seconds.

One night after being embarassed by the Golden State Warriors, they nearly were defeated by the expansion Bobcats, beating them 86-84.  Laron Profit tipped in the winning shot with just 3.1 seconds left.

The game in Atlanta was even tighter for the Sixers, as they beat the Hawks by a final score of 98-97.  Allen Iverson had 33 points, but shot just 10-31 from the field.
