The Lakers were in the Finals last season and this season they are already on the brink of being eliminated from playoff contention.

``We're not going to run the table the rest of the way,'' coach Frank Hamblen said, ``and the other teams aren't going to lose every game.

``We know elimination is coming.''

Los Angeles has lost 11 out of their last 12, including eight straight on the road.
