Spurs swingman Devin Brown has practiced this past week but coach Greg Popovich is not ready to bring him back into the rotation.

"I see a rare sparkle here and there," Popovich said. "I'm still reticent to pull the trigger and get him on the floor, but in this series we may be forced to do that."

Brown did not play in the Western Conference Finals due to a a back injury that has weakened his right leg.

However, he could still play in the finals as the Spurs might need him defensively against the Pistons to guard Chauncey Billups, Richard Hamilton, and Tayshaun Prince on the perimeter.
