The Cleveland Cavaliers have until Wednesday to pick up Robert Traylor's $1.76 team option or he will become a free agent.
Based on Traylor's production as a reserve last season, this would normally be a no-brainer.
However, the Cavaliers could have as much as $25 million in capspace this summer and if Traylor's option is picked up, the $1.76 that would be chopped off Cleveland's cap could mean the difference in the team being able to sign a second or third major free agent.
Still, no decision has been reached.
``I don't know what's going to happen, especially with the front office,'' Cavaliers head coach MikeBrown said. ``He's a good player, and he's proven he can play (power forward and center).''
Some believe that owner Dan Gilbert will make the final decision.
