Tonight?s Game 3 at the Palace in Auburn Hills saw a Pistons team that looked nothing like the lethargic squad that lost the previous two games to the San Antonio Spurs.

Fueled by the raw energy of Ben Wallace and the hot hand of Richard Hamilton, the Pistons outscored the Spurs 26-14 in the fourth quarter en route to a 96-79 victory.  The 96 points scored marks the first time the Spurs have yielded over 90 in 14 Finals games.

"I think we figured out how hard we have to play," Pistons coach Larry Brown said.

"You know, tonight we really came out here and took care of business at home," Hamilton said. "We defended, we helped each other out and we got a win."

Hamilton led the way with 24 points while Ben Wallace added 15 to go along with his 11 rebounds and 5 blocked shots (all 5 blocks came  in the first quarter).

The Spurs were led by Tim Duncan?s 21 points and 10 rebounds with Finals MVP favorite and consummate flop-artist Manu Ginobili nowhere to be seen
