The Pac-10 player of the year Ike Diogu will wait until just before the next week?s deadline to decide whether to make himself available to the draft.

RealGM is projecting Diogu to be taken no later than fifteen, which would be a position that would be difficult for him to pass on.

Diogu has yet to hire an agent, and the threat of a possible lockout is, no doubt, weighing heavy on his mind.

"I think I need all the time I can get because it's going to be a big, tough decision," he said after the workout.

"Any time you think about leaving school early, you definitely want to go in the first round," he said. "So much stuff is said in the draft, you really don't know."

Diogu just finished a workout with the Phoenix suns and coach Mike D?Antoni is rumored to be impressed with the young talent.
