The Portland TrailBlazers already have a young point guard Sebastian Telfair but they will not rule out taking Wake Forest's Chris Paul with the third pick in Tuesday night's NBA Draft.

"He's very, very much on our radar screen," Blazers GM John Nash said after watching Paul work out at Loyola University in Chicago. "He is going to be a very high choice -- I would suspect in the top five or six in this draft. He is very impressive."

Still, if the Blazers select him, Paul thinks they will trade him.

"That would be a pretty weird situation," said Paul, who left Wake Forest University after his sophomore season. "I realize they took Sebastian (Telfair) last year, so that would definitely be a conflict of interest. If they draft me, I'm sure that something else is going to take place."

In the end, many expect Portland to deal their pick.
