The Chicago Tribune is reporting that any questions about how Curry's heart condition might affect the market for his services were answered shortly after midnight Thursday when, according to a source, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Atlanta Hawks contacted the Bulls' center once the free-agency bell had sounded.

Curry reportedly was open to visiting both cities, and while the Bulls retain the rights to match any offer the young center may receive the prospect of playing alongside LeBron James might tempt Curry to consider changing addresses.  Interest in Curry from Cleveland may cool should the Cavaliers be able to retain their own center Zydrunas Ilgauskas, who is on many teams' lists as potential targets.

Committed to make every effort to keep Curry in town, the Bulls faxed an initial contract offer to Curry's agent, Leon Rose, on Friday rather than wait until a market determined his value. Rose left town with his family for the holiday weekend.

The offer, according to sources, was expected to be short-term and full of incentives related to weight issues and his recent heart condition.
