Citing sources, The News Tribune reported Sunday that the Seattle SuperSonics have a list of three candidates to replace departed coach Nate McMillan.

The newspaper says the team has told prospective candidates that the list includes Phoenix Suns assistant Marc Iavaroni, Sonics assistant Bob Weiss and at least one other candidate. The TNT says that other candidate is believed to be Michigan State coach Tom Izzo.

But a source close to Izzo tells ESPN.com's Andy Katz that Izzo is not a candidate for the Sonics opening.
