After two delays and hundreds of lawyer hours, both the league and the Players' Union finally completed and ratified the documents for the new six-year agreement, which was agreed to in principle over a month ago.

The salary cap for the upcoming was set at $49.5 million, which was an increase of over $5 million compared to last season. The Mid-Level Exception, which can be used by teams over the cap to sign free agents, was also set at $5 million.

The lawyers for the league will next formally introduce the new CBA to each of the league's 30 franchises, after which the signings can officially begin at noon ET on Tuesday.
